Fisher Industries, “We Build the Wall” — with security help from the UCP (United Constitutional Patriots) — has succeeded in building one-half mile of wall in just over a day around Border Monument #1 at the foot of Mt Cristo Rey. All parties have been under fire from #OpenBorder advocates; including the Governor and the Attorney General of New Mexico. Last month, the leader of UCP was arrested under questionable circumstances. (Namely, a 2 year old incident.)

With permission from from the land owners, American Eagle Brick Company of Sunland Park NM, a working proof-of-concept prototype has secured the southern boundary of the private land using privately funds. (See map at bottom.)

In addition, according to Genevieve Curtis for KFox 14 TV the improvements include

[b]ollard-style fencing with anticlimbing plates at the top. They (also) added LED lights and will pave the road along the fence line for Border Patrol agents to use.

The organization also used an upgraded type of steel which should last 75 years.

“Basically, it’s a turnkey operation. We’re gonna finish the project and hand it to Border Patrol and say, ‘You’re welcome,'” said Chris Kobach.

The wall was funded by “We Build the Wall” via a crowdfunding campaign. Again from KFox

More than 300,000 Americans pitched in more than $20 million.

Chris Kobach, general counsel for We Build the Wall, said Memorial Day weekend construction was intentional.

The organization said it hopes to complete the wall by sundown Tuesday and is already looking for its next place to build.

From the Washington Post

NOTE: It should be noted this is Chris Koback is NOT Krish Kobach – former Attorney General of Kansas & supporter of President Trump. It is possible that the Washington Post has the person listed completely wrong. The pictures show as much.

We should also note this is just about the worst reporting we’ve read to date — full of innuendo. You are welcome to read the original article by following the link.

The Washington Post wrote

Even as Trump pushes for his firm, Fisher already has started building a section of fencing in Sunland Park, N.M. We Build the Wall, a nonprofit that includes prominent conservatives who support the president — its associates and advisory board include former White House adviser Stephen K. Bannon, Blackwater USA founder Erik Prince, ex-congressman Tom Tancredo and former Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach — has guided an effort to build portions of the border barrier on private land with private funds.

(…)

Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, has joined in the campaign for Fisher Industries, along with Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), an ardent promoter of the company(.) Cramer, in an interview Thursday, said the Trump administration has shown a great deal of interest in his constituent’s company.

The blue shaded area belongs to American Eagle Brick Company. The split in the property is the Union Pacific railroad line. South of Border Monument #1, the river becomes a stream during the dry part of the year. As such, people can just walk across.

UPDATE May 30, 2019: The map was mislabeled “Southern Pacific”; it is Union Pacific.
